มาตรา 750
- ถ้าทรัพย์สินที่จำนำนั้นเปนสิทธิชนิดที่เปนตราสารอย่างใด ๆ และมิได้ส่งมอบตราสารนั้นให้แก่ผู้รับจำนำ ทั้งมิได้บอกกล่าวเปนหนังสือแก่ผู้เปนลูกหนี้แห่งสิทธินั้นให้ทราบการจำนำด้วยไซร้ จำนำเช่นนั้นท่านว่าเปนโมฆะ

- If the pledged property is a right represented by a written instrument, the pledge is void unless such instrument is delivered to the pledgee and the pledge is notified in writing to the debtor of the right.
