มาตรา 750
- ถ้าทรัพย์สินที่จำนำเป็นสิทธิซึ่งมีตราสาร และมิได้ส่งมอบตราสารนั้นให้แก่ผู้รับจำนำ ทั้งมิได้บอกกล่าวเป็นหนังสือแจ้งการจำนำแก่ลูกหนี้แห่งสิทธินั้นด้วยไซร้ ท่านว่าการจำนำย่อมเป็นโมฆะ

- If the pledged property is a right represented by a written instrument, the pledge is void unless such instrument is delivered to the pledgee and the pledge is notified in writing to the debtor of the right.
