มาตรา 995
- (๑) เช็คไม่มีขีดคร่อม ผู้สั่งจ่ายฤๅผู้ทรงคนใดคนหนึ่งจะขีดคร่อมเสียก็ได้ และจะทำเปนขีดคร่อมทั่วไปฤๅขีดคร่อมเฉภาะก็ได้
- (๒) เช็คขีดคร่อมทั่วไป ผู้ทรงจะทำให้เปนขีดคร่อมเฉภาะเสียก็ได้
- (๓) เช็คขีดคร่อมทั่วไปก็ดี ขีดคร่อมเฉภาะก็ดี ผู้ทรงจะเติมคำลงว่า "ห้ามเปลี่ยนมือ" ก็ได้
- (๔) เช็คขีดคร่อมเฉภาะให้แก่ธนาคารใด ธนาคารนั้นจะซ้ำขีดคร่อมเฉภาะให้ไปแก่ธนาคารอื่นเพื่อเรียกเก็บเงินก็ได้
- (๕) เช็คไม่มีขีดคร่อมก็ดี เช็คขีดคร่อมทั่วไปก็ดี ส่งไปยังธนาคารใดเพื่อให้เรียกเก็บเงิน ธนาคารนั้นจะลงขีดคร่อมเฉภาะให้แก่ตนเองก็ได้

- (1) An uncrossed cheque may be crossed generally or specially by the drawer or any holder.
- (2) Where a cheque is crossed generally, the holder may cross it specially.
- (3) Where a cheque is crossed generally or specially, the holder may add the words "not negotiable".
- (4) Where a cheque is crossed specially, the banker to whom it is crossed may again cross it specially to another banker for collection.
- (5) Where an uncrossed cheque or a cheque crossed generally is sent to a banker for collection, he may cross it specially to himself.
