มาตรา 269
- บุริมสิทธิในมูลรักษาสังหาริมทรัพย์นั้น ใช้สำหรับเอาค่าใช้จ่ายเพื่อรักษาสังหาริมทรัพย์ และมีอยู่เหนือสังหาริมทรัพย์อันนั้น
- อนึ่ง บุริมสิทธินี้ยังใช้สำหรับเอาค่าใช้จ่ายที่จำเป็นอันได้เสียไปเพื่อที่จะสงวนสิทธิ หรือรับสภาพสิทธิ หรือบังคับสิทธิ อันเกี่ยวด้วยสังหาริมทรัพย์นั้นอีกด้วย

- [I] The preferential right on account of the preservation of a movable is for the expense of the preservation of movable, and is in such movable.
- [II] The preferential right exists also for necessary expenses incurred for the purpose of having a right relating to a movable preserved, acknowledged or enforced.

The most plausible model for this section would be;
- Japanese Civil Code (1896/98), Art.321;
- [I] The preferential right for preservation of movables exists in the movables with regard to the expenses of preservation of the same.
- [II] The preferential right of the preceding Paragraph equally exists with regard to the expenses requisite for having the rights relating to the movables preserved, ratified, or enforced.
