มาตรา 12
- ลงจำนวนเงิน หรือปริมาณในเอกสารด้วยตัวอักษรและตัวเลข ถ้าตัวอักษรกับตัวเลขทั้งสองอย่างนั้นไม่ตรงกัน และศาลมิอาจหยั่งทราบเจตนาอันแท้จริงได้ไซร้ ให้ฟังเอาจำนวนเงินหรือปริมาณซึ่งเขียนเป็นตัวอักษรนั้นเป็นประมาณ
