มาตรา 466
- ในการซื้อขายอสังหาริมทรัพย์นั้น หากว่าได้ระบุจำนวนเนื้อที่ทั้งหมดไว้ และผู้ขายส่งมอบทรัพย์สินน้อยฤๅมากไปกว่าที่ได้สัญญาไซร้ ท่านว่าผู้ซื้อจะปัดเสีย ฤๅจะรับเอาไว้และใช้ราคาตามส่วนก็ได้ ตามแต่จะเลือก
- อนึ่ง ถ้าขาดตกบกพร่องฤๅล้ำจำนวนไม่เกินกว่าร้อยละห้าแห่งเนื้อที่ทั้งหมดอันได้ระบุไว้นั้นไซร้ ท่านว่าผู้ซื้อจำต้องรับเอาและใช้ราคาตามส่วน แต่ว่าผู้ซื้ออาจจะเรียกให้เพิกถอนสัญญาซื้อขายเสียได้ในเมื่อขาดตกบกพร่องฤๅล้ำจำนวนถึงขนาด ซึ่งจะห้ามใจผู้ซื้อมิให้เข้าทำสัญญานั้นเสียแต่ต้นมือแล้ว

- [I] In a sale of immovable property where the total area is specified and the seller delivers the property less or more than he contracted for, the buyer has the option either to reject or accept it and pay the proportionate price.
- [II] If the deficiency or excess does not exceed five percent of the total area so specified, the buyer is bound to accept it and pay the proportionate price, provided that the buyer can claim cancellation of the contract if the deficiency or excess is such as would have prevented him from entering into the contract.
