มาตรา 751
- ถ้าจำนำตราสารชะนิดออกให้แก่บุคคลเพื่อเขาสั่ง ท่านห้ามมิให้ยกขึ้นเป็นข้อต่อสู้บุคคลภายนอก เว้นแต่จะได้สลักหลังไว้ที่ตราสารให้ปรากฏการจำนำเช่นนั้น
- อนึ่ง ในการนี้ไม่จำเป็นต้องบอกกล่าวแก่ลูกหนี้แห่งตราสาร

- [I] If an instrument to order is pledged, such pledge cannot be set up against third persons unless its creation is indorsed upon the instrument.
