Chapter V. Transfer of Lease and Sublease.

Section 609.

• Unless otherwise provided by the lease, a lessee can not sublet or transfer his rights in the whole or part of the property hired to a third person.

Section 610.

• If a lessee sublets or transfers his rights in the whole or part of the property hired contrary to the provisions of the lease forgoing section, the lessor may determine the contract lease.
