TITLE IV. Hire of Property.

Chapter V. Transfer of Lease and Sublease.

Section 609.
  • Unless otherwise provided by the lease, a lessee can not sublet or transfer his rights in the whole or part of the property hired to a third person.

  • If a lessee sublets or transfers his rights in the whole or part of the property hired contrary to the provisions of the lease, the lessor may determine the contract.
